Beauty in the Truth... that fulfills

Through the Cross to the Resurrection.

The Cross, for all Christians is not a "bad sign" or a symbol of any kind of "loss". On the contrary, for us Christians the Cross signifies the greatest action of love that anyone could do.

Jesus, beloved Son of the Father, shared our humanity so that we can share His divinity. Yes, that is right. We can share His divinity even here on earth. And a foretaste of heaven. What do you think that could have moved Saint Francis of Assisi, St. Rose of Lima, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Mother Teresa, and many others to live the lives they lived, filled with challenges, difficulties, and pain... with a smile and peace?

They imitated their beloved example and saviour, Jesus Christ, whom, with no blame, gave up His live to save us. And to do this, He had to pass through the passion and a death on a Cross, the most cruel and humiliating death. And "us", means you and I, and everyone else (yes, including those from Isis). His friends and his "enemies".

And I don't think He spent time feeling He was a victim. He knew what He would be going through, but His focus, I believe, was what He would "obtain" from it. And yes, he opened the doors of heaven for us. All we have to do, is to walk with Him, as He called Himself "the Way", the Truth, and the Life.

The Way may be filled with challenges, and pain, but trust and hope, we will be given the grace and strength greater any challenges. And we will be given peace regardless of what we may go through. And the doors will be open before us... like they were, for the saints, so that they fulfill the unique mission that they were created for.
